ABOUT ME
Hello !
I am Jessie Claude, a French-Caribbean filmmaker, screenwriter and actress. I grew up in Martinique watching films and series from all around the world felt inspired to imagine, create and tell stories of my own. I have completed a graduate course in 2019 at ESEC film school in Paris, where I majored in screenwriting. On the same year, I worked as a coordination consultant for TF1's prime-time soap opera, Demain Nous Appartient. I have also graduated from Sydney Film School in 2020 with a Diploma of Screen and Media. During this course, I wrote, directed and edited my short-film, "Voodoo Salon".

My artistic style stands at the crossroads of my multi-cultural Martinican background and my wild imagination. I love mixing supernatural elements with personnal, intimate themes, through tale-like storytelling. My TV show projects also tackle with humour the contemporary struggles of friendship, romantic relationships, identity and queerness.

I write or co-write my projects and am open to new collaborators and producers that can help me bring my ideas to life, and to the screen. If that sounds like you, then don't hesitate to reach out. You can download my resume in English by clicking here or in French here.
